The Fishers Park and Rain Garden Stewards are new volunteer programs for the public to be directly involved in caring for local parks and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our natural resources. Learn more about these two exciting opportunities below.
Fishers Park Steward Program
The Fishers Park Steward Program helps ensure that Fishers parks are clean, welcoming, and thriving ecosystems for the community. The program coordinates with volunteers who provide monthly trash cleanup, trail maintenance, invasive species removal, and reporting vandalism or park damage at one of 5 different parks around Fishers. Individuals and groups are welcome, and stewards are asked to work on their park at least once a month for a year. Sign up here.

- Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve

Fishers Rain Garden Steward Program
The Fishers Rain Garden Steward program invites the community to get involved in ensuring the sustainability of our natural resources. The program coordinates with volunteers who help maintain an adopted rain garden by removing trash, pulling invasive species, and reporting damage or vandalism at one of 27 different rain gardens around Fishers. Individuals and groups are welcome, and stewards are asked to work on their park at least once a month for a year. Sign up here.
