Why did you start your business?
"I was at a professional fork in the road and wanted to do something completely different. I took my hobbies and passions and turned it into a full-time job. I wanted to redefine the neighborhood market concept and to get people closer to the source of their food."
What products do you sell and what is your most popular product?
"Protein products that are sourced from Indiana farms. 99% of the business is sausages and bacon. We offer a large variety of flavors and meat sources. We offer pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, and beef sausages, and we offer pork, beef, and lamb bacon. Our most popular bacon is traditional bacon, which is smoked with hickory and cherry. Our most popular sausage is the tomato basil chicken sausage and the Wisconsin Bratwurst."
What is an interesting fact about your business?
"We're a butcher shop without the brick & mortar. Sales are all online (with the exception of the farmers market)."
