Geist Waterfront Park is open from dawn to dusk daily with gated access at the entrance of the park. Park-goers will use their smartphone to scan at the gated entrance.

No. We recommend registering for a SmartPass a minimum of 15 minutes prior to arriving to Geist Waterfront Park. Parking day passes for non-residents must be purchased no later than 48 hours prior to park opening for the day you intend to visit.
Only residents with a Fishers-based address are eligible to register for a Fishers SmartPass. This includes residents with addresses in unincorporated areas.
Currently, only residents with a Fishers address are eligible to sign up for a Fishers SmartPass. Specifically, residents of either Delaware or Fall Creek Township are considered Fishers residents under this policy.

Access to Geist Waterfront Park requires one Fishers SmartPass per vehicle. Each individual in your party is not required to have their own Fishers SmartPass. No. Much like a membership card for a gym or other membership-based organization, your Fishers SmartPass will be scanned via your smartphone and will not expire.

If residents are unable to use a smartphone, a physical SmartPass is available. Residents must register online at playfishers.com/SmartPass and indicate they do not have a smartphone during registration. There is no limit to the number of times you can visit the park. The Fishers SmartPass gives you access to the park and is considered unlimited.
The Fishers SmartPass will allow one vehicle through the gate at a time. The limit for the number of guests in your party is equivalent to the number of seat belts in your vehicle.
Minors under the age of 16 are not permitted in the park without an adult. That said, minors between 16 and 18 are not permitted to sign up for their own Fishers SmartPass and must either access the park with an adult or enter via pedestrian access.
No, any visitors under the age of 18 will be covered by the Fishers SmartPass holder entering the park.
